Violet Voss Creme Brulee Eyeshadow Palette Review

Violet Voss have brought out fun sized palettes which contain 10 colours. I went for the Creme Brulee version as I am into brown and gold eyeshadows at the moment. I have gone off the orange/red warm shades. I believe there are 3 other versions, but I went for this palette as they are everyday shades and I would get more use out of the palette. I really like the packaging as I prefer cardboard packaging. I think that is an unpopular opinion but I just do! I hate a palette that is hard to open and ruins my nails lol!

Even though the palette is fun sized, I think it is a good size and has a fair amount of product in. You get a mirror which is very handy. There is not one shade in this palette that I wouldn’t use. It is a bit annoying how there are no shade names but my favourite is the 3rd from the left in the bottom row. It is like a rose gold shimmer. What does confuse me about the shades is that the ones that look like they would be crease shades actually have shimmer in them. I don’t find that you can see the shimmer that much on the eyes but I don’t get the point.

All the shades are very pigmented. There isn’t one I am not impressed with. The shades also apply pigmented on the eyes. I think the shades blend nicely. When I first tried the palette I knew that I was going to love it. It is so easy and quick to use which is perfect for me as I am not the best at eyeshadow so I can rely on this palette.

Overall, I love the Violet Voss Creme Brulee eyeshadow palette. The only negative is there is not one matte shade but I’m not that bothered. The palette only costs £18 which I think is a good price.

What are your thoughts on this palette?

I love this palette too! The shades are so stunning, but like you say some of them are a little confusing how there is shimmer in the mattes xx

Too many browns and golds (I already have so many) but the swatches look great! I’d love to try a palette from this brand.

Yeah that’s fair enough if you have loads of shades then maybe you won’t need this! They do have others with bright colours so they are worth a try! Xx
