Violet Voss have brought out fun sized palettes which contain 10 colours. I went for the Creme Brulee version as I am into brown and gold eyeshadows at the moment. I have gone off the orange/red warm shades. I believe there are 3 other versions, but I went for this palette as they are everyday shades and I would get more use out of the palette. I really like the packaging as I prefer cardboard packaging. I think that is an unpopular opinion but I just do! I hate a palette that is hard to open and ruins my nails lol!
Even though the palette is fun sized, I think it is a good size and has a fair amount of product in. You get a mirror which is very handy. There is not one shade in this palette that I wouldn’t use. It is a bit annoying how there are no shade names but my favourite is the 3rd from the left in the bottom row. It is like a rose gold shimmer. What does confuse me about the shades is that the ones that look like they would be crease shades actually have shimmer in them. I don’t find that you can see the shimmer that much on the eyes but I don’t get the point.
All the shades are very pigmented. There isn’t one I am not impressed with. The shades also apply pigmented on the eyes. I think the shades blend nicely. When I first tried the palette I knew that I was going to love it. It is so easy and quick to use which is perfect for me as I am not the best at eyeshadow so I can rely on this palette.
Overall, I love the Violet Voss Creme Brulee eyeshadow palette. The only negative is there is not one matte shade but I’m not that bothered. The palette only costs £18 which I think is a good price.
