Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion concealer has been my favourite for a while now. It blends perfectly, has good coverage for me and has minimal creasing. It is obviously quite pricey for a concealer but it is worth it and even though the tube is small, it lasts for ages! I have a full review here.
Whilst repurchasing my favourite foundation, L’Oreal True Match (which I’ve spoken about so much on my blog) I decided to make the most of the 3 for 2 offer and decided to try a new drugstore concealer. (I also brought a lip product- Chocolats matte liquid lipstick which I absolutely hate but that is for another post). I am getting bored of using my Maybelline eye eraser so it was about time I looked for a new concealer, and I am so glad I have found a Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion dupe.

As you can see the shades are very similar. The Laura Mercier concealer is just a bit more warmer than the True Match concealer. I have gone off bright under eyes so the shades above are darker than usual but just light enough to add a tad bit of brightness to the foundation I use- L’Oreal True Match in Golden Natural. (I don’t have any fake tan on in the above picture if you was wondering why my concealer is way too darker for my skin- I feel like I have to mention that I wear fake tan in every post haha!)
The wands of the concealer are identical- Laura Mercier being just a little softer. I prefer these kinds of applicators as they fit under the eye and are bendy which means that there is no tugging under the eye when applying in strokes.
I prefer blending the Laura Mercier concealer in with a brush. This concealer claims to be non-creasing and I feel this works more when buffed in with a brush for some reason. I love the shade of the concealer, it is the perfect warm shade- not too orange or yellow. I prefer these shades as I mentioned above I wear fake tan.
The L’Oreal True Match concealer is lighter than the Laura Mercier concealer but only slightly. I prefer blending this concealer in with my Real Techniques beauty sponge. The formula is very similar as again the concealer has minimal creasing making this a very good Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion dupe!
Qualities I prefer:
Shade: Laura Mercier
Formula: Laura Mercier
Applicator: Laura Mercier
Amount of product: Laura Mercier 7g L’Oreal 6.8ml
Price: Laura Mercier £24 L’Oreal £7.99
Overall you see it’s clear, I prefer the Laura Mercier concealer but I am happy with the L’Oreal concealer as I feel it is a dupe, so I wear L’Oreal for everyday at work and save Laura Mercier for going out as it is expensive.
What do you think of this Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion dupe? Thanks for reading!
