September Favourites 2018

I lost all motivation with blogging recently. I still am not enjoying my photography- and I don’t think it will change because I am awful with taking pictures and editing. I also wasn’t getting any new products to post about as I don’t want to buy all the new products to try out and not love them and waste my money. But I was feeling a splurge coming on so I have some products to talk about. I can’t believe I am actually posting my September favourites though. Summer just went so quickly!

Neutrogena Hydro Boost water gel and eye awakening gel-cream- these 2 products are my new go to skincare products. My skin does not like high end skincare, there is something in every one that I have tried that irritates my skin. I knew I could trust Neutrogena as I use their facial wash everyday and have done for years. I have noticed a difference from using these products. My makeup looks smoother and my dry patches have reduced. The eye cream feels soothing and a little goes a long way. My under eyes always get flaky dry patches which is gross but I don’t get them with this product. I used to use an eye cream from body shop which I loved but this one feels refreshing which does feel awakening like in the name of the product.

Wet n Wild mega glow highlighter- for a cheap highlighter this is seriously good! I do layer it up a few times but it is super pigmented and looks good on the skin. The only thing is it doesn’t last all day but for £3.75 I can’t really complain.

Becca shimmering skin perfector in champagne pop- it has taken me ages to try this product but I will definitely repurchase! I bought the mini version incase I didn’t like it but I really do and will soon run out. The highlighter looks stunning, I use 2 layers just because I am over the top with highlighter but you seriously don’t need to layer- with one swipe you are glowing!

Benefit eyebrow pencil- I love benefit eyebrow products and I have mentioned them on my blog before. I used to use the goof proof pencil but I decided to try the precisely my brow pencil to create a more natural precise brow. I can create a softer brow with this pencil which I am loving at the moment. The packaging of benefit eyebrow products will always be my favourite. It is quite pricey, around £20. If this is out of your price range as it is quite expensive just for an eyebrow pencil, I recommend the nyx micro brow pencil which is half the price.

Milani eyeshadow primer- this is the best primer I have used for my eyes! I love how it is a nude colour. It blends out well and you don’t need a lot of it to work. This stops my eyeshadows from creasing – I do set it with powder though. I have also used this over concealer as I like to cover up my veins and redness on my lids when applying eyeshadow and it still works fine. The product is small but it will last a long time! Plus I personally think it is cheap for just £8.

Stila stay all day bronzer- I was on the hunt for a new bronzer because I was bored of the same too faced and hola bronzers that I was using. I like how the bronzer has 3 shades. I got the shade medium. This makes my skin look healthy. I didn’t want a bronzer that was too orange or too red toned so this bronzer is perfect for me as it just right. The bronzer costs £28 but I love Stila so I don’t mind spending a bit more, plus it is my new favourite bronzer.

Urban Decay setting spray- I don’t know what I did without this product. I don’t think I will ever stop using it. I don’t think I can do my makeup without this again as it just lasts so well. I thought my makeup was lasting well with my makeup revolution setting spray but I definitely will spend the extra money for this setting spray as I don’t need to worry about touching up at all anymore.

Are you loving any of these products? I’d love to know your September favourites or if there is anything I need to try! Thanks for reading!
