I have never used MUA eyeshadows since I purchased one of my first eyeshadow palettes from them which included some natural brown and shimmery shades which were not bad but not amazing. MUA when I was 14/15 was one of my favourite brands. I used to use their eyeshadow kit which was actually pretty good, and a powder (I picked a shade that looked like a bronzer and I covered my face in it, bare in mind I am as light as paper urgh haha!) Since then I haven’t used the brand. In Superdrug they had a separate little stand showing off a few of their eyeshadow palettes. I looked at the Frosted Gleam palette and thought it was stunning! My friend who I was shopping with swatched the colours and I was amazed with how pigmented they were. We had to get the palette because the shadows looked amazing and it was only £4!
The MUA Frosted Gleam Eyeshadow Palette contains 15 shimmery shades which all look stunning. The formula of these eyeshadows is incredible, they are so soft and buttery. I apply the shadows with my fingers and a lot of shadow is picked up and with one swipe you have pigmented lid shades! But of course I like to build them up! When I do this I don’t notice any fall out, however I haven’t used these with a brush so I’m not sure if you will get fall out that way.
Not only is the palette amazing quality, but it is so handy! I love how the shades are all shimmery so that there is one for every look. I always run out of the shimmery shades in every palette as there are always loads of mattes and about 2 shimmery shades. My go to look when I’m using a palette is building up my crease with a matte shadow, using a glittery shade on the lid, then building up some more colour on the edge with another matte shade. I hate it when I have a good palette but am running out of the only shimmery shade I can use! However for everyday, I have a palette to go to where I can find any shade to match a look I am going for. There are silver and gold shades, pinks, Burgundy and purples, blacks and dark blues.
I am so happy that I found the MUA Frosted Gleam Eyeshadow Palette. I am going to be using it everyday and I am super impressed with how good these MUA shadows are.
I 100% recommend this palette! What do you think of the MUA Frosted Gleam Eyeshadow Palette?
