March Favourites 2018

I don’t usually post monthly favourites but in March I found that I was reaching for the same things all the time, so I just had to post my March favourites! These are some products you need in your collection! I am a little obsessed with trying out drugstore products at the moment, but I also still like testing out a high end product every now and then. I feel like the drugstore has got even better at the moment so I feel like I’m less likely to spend money on expensive products, seeing as a few products I’ve splurged on recently, I have not been satisfied with.

Foundations are my favourite products to try. I am always looking for a new favourite foundation as I think a good base is really important personally. After testing out the L’Oreal Infallible stick foundation and loving it, I now use it all the time as my go to for a natural everyday look. The foundation looks fresh and dewy, but has good lasting power once set. The stick is easy to use and quick to apply. Makeup applies nicely over the top so, it is an overall top product for me.

Another base product I have been loving is the Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion concealer. A full review of the concealer is coming soon so watch out for that! The concealer looks natural and blends seamlessly into the skin. The packaging is basic, and the price is quite expensive, but I am enjoying trying the concealer out.

The Tarte eyeshadow palette has the prettiest packaging and the best quality eyeshadows. I love the palette however, everyday I like to create a simple look by putting a matte shade in the crease and a shimmery shade on the lid. By doing this everyday I’d use up the shimmery shades quickly, so I purchased the MUA Frosted Gleam palette which has 15 shimmery shades which will go with any look for everyday use! The matte shades in the Tarte palette will last me a long time as you only need to tap your brush in a little bit as the shades are pigmented.

I have recently took off my acrylic nails which I am happy about even though I will miss having long nails. I am not good at painting my nails but the Rimmel gel polishes have made it easier for me to paint my nails because of the big thick brush. The nail polishes still do chip easily though but they last longer than your usual nail polish.

The lip products from the Primark NUDES collection are slaying at the moment! I have a review of the lip liner and lip gloss here. I love the shade, it is the brown nude that I have been looking for, plus the packaging is nice.

Have you tried any of these products? What are your March favourites?

I really want to try that L’Oreal foundation stick, but I’m trying not to buy any more makeup until I’ve used up what I’ve already got. The struggle is real haha! Great post xx
