Morphe 3502 Second Nature Palette Review and Swatches

I am again late to the party with Morphe. I have recently been meaning to order myself an eyeshadow palette of theirs, but I never actually got round to it. When I got the promotion email from Beauty Bay, selling the new Morphe 3502 Second Nature palette, the email it said it would be a huge sell out, which is obvious as every time I went to order the 350 palette, it was always sold out! So this made me buy this palette super quick as I didn’t want to miss out. I thought it was perfect timing seeing as I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a palette, so why not try out the newest edition?

The Morphe 3502 palette contains 35 shades in this palette which is amazing. They eyeshadows are warm toned with a few ashier shades, therefore the palette has everything you need for a warm smokey look. The colours are perfect for this time of the year. Now let’s move on to the pros and cons.

Not going to lie, even though I have been wanting a Morphe palette for ages, I haven’t actually read any reviews. I just assumed I’d love it as they are so popular. However, I think it’s good that I haven’t read any reviews on the Morphe formula as I can give my own first impression.

I don’t mind the packaging it’s very simple and light weight. I just wish the palette had a mirror. But I guess for the price you can’t have everything. The palette cost me £23 which is pretty good for the amount of shades you get. Unfortunately, I don’t think this is going to be my new favourite eyeshadow palette which is a shame.

The Morphe 3502 palette has lovely crease shades and dark brown shades to darken the crease. There are so many gorgeous shimmery lids shades and stunning red and orange shades and a black! So there is everything you could need.

The shades look nice alone, but when I start blending it all goes wrong. The shades start fading, which leaves patchy eye lids! When I was packing a dark matte brown onto the outer part of my eyelid and blending it out, the colour was just blending away into nothing and it looked quite patchy. I built it up 3 times and I wasn’t even getting anywhere so I just gave up. Also, I don’t find the shimmery shades do anything. They look good in swatches and on the eyes (only when applied with fingers). But then I’d blend the harsh lines and it just looked awful, more like a slight sheen over my lid, they somehow just disappear. I even tried the shimmer shades with a wet brush but that looked awful too.

I feel bad for complaining as it’s a cheap palette and it’s not bad for what you pay for, but I have to be honest.

Have you got the Morphe 3502 palette and like it? What do you think of other Morphe palettes? Thanks for reading!

I haven’t tried any of their palettes yet. It’s such a shame about the quality because the warm toned shades looked really nice initially x

I have wanted to try Morphe products for a while. Those colours look gorgeous, but it’s such a shame they fade and don’t come out as pigmented as they look 🙁 Great review though x
