My Skincare Routine

I am getting into my skincare now as I have finally managed to find products which are not too expensive, and work on my sensitive skin. I’ve always found that if I use anything too fancy or products that are too harsh for my skin, my face just breaks out or causes a rash. I’ve never worried about a skincare routine because I’d get less spots without one. But now my skin will stay super clean and spot free from these products!

I’m not sure why but anything high end or too natural doesn’t agree with my skin. Any clues to why? For example, I stay away from Lush. I used one of their shampoos and got a rash so now I’m scared to use any of their masks etc. I’m not going to lie, I do use face wipes. They may not be the best for your skin but the Tesco own wipes are amazing. I’m not sure how to describe it, but they are more ‘wet’ than others so, I can take my whole face off with just one wipe. I do of course use a face wash after though.

Anyway… here are my products used for my skincare routine.

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Spot Protecting 2 in 1 Facial Wash

I can’t explain how good this product is. I recommend it to anyone. I’ve been using this since I was in secondary school. Maybe year 9? I started to become very spotty on my forehead so I bought this face wash and never looked back. My skin cleared up and I was never spotty unless it was my time of the month. This product takes ALL your makeup off. I even use this just to clean my face, without having any makeup on. I swear by this product and it’s 100% down to this for having a spot free face.

Garnier Skin Active Botanical Rose Water Toner

I use this product once I’ve used my facial wash. The toner just gets rid of any makeup that may still be laying around which is usually around my hair line. It is very refreshing and gets my skin clean and ready for moisturiser. I love Garnier products and I recommend this product more than other waters I’ve used.

The Body Shop Vitamin C Moisturiser

This is a new purchase for me and I wish I tried it sooner. I don’t like the smell (I’m not a fan of citrus scents) but I can get over it because of how good it is. This makes my skin soooo soft. My makeup looks so nice now as it has less dry patches to cling to. I like how it isn’t like a cream but more gel like.It sinks into my skin perfectly and has made my face less dull. A little goes a long way so it will last me a long time.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream

My under eyes are SUPER soft thanks to this product. I was put off with how much it is because the tube is quite small, but there is so much product inside as you only need the smallest amount. I was beginning to get dry patches under my eyes and at the side but they were gone just after a few weeks of using this eye cream. I recommend this as it does work.

What skin products do you use? Thanks for reading.

I never used any of the products you mentioned, but I would love to try the rose water toner! For the last year and a half I've been using the Mario Badescue Seaweed Toner, and I absolutely love it. I also have sensitive skin, and would recommend you to try it out! It's also super affordable too. Great post love xxx

I avoid Lush products as well and to be honest, I don't think we're missing much! The Garnier SkinActive products are some of the best I've ever tried so totally agree with you there! x

I haven't used any of these products before, but I really love the sound of the Vitamin C moisturiser from the body shop. I've only just learn of all of the benefits of Vitamin C, so I'll definitely have to pick that up. Great post xx
